Over the years, I have dedicated myself to bridging the gap between academia and real-world financial applications. Since earning my Ph.D. in Finance from the University of Texas at Austin in 2008, I have been at the forefront of innovative research in Fintech, including areas like cryptocurrency, blockchain, artificial intelligence, and machine learning. My work has been published in esteemed journals such as the Journal of Financial Economics and Management Science, and I've contributed to the field through books like "Cryptocurrency, Decentralized Finance Blockchains and Robust Trading Strategies." As a professor, I have enriched the academic journey of numerous students across Ph.D., Masters, and undergraduate levels, delving into subjects such as FinTech and asset pricing. My insights have been featured in major media outlets like The New York Times and CNBC, where I have discussed the evolving dynamics of finance. Additionally, my role in various professional activities, including serving as a panel moderator at blockchain summits and providing expert testimony for the SEC, underscores my commitment to financial education and innovation. This multifaceted career reflects my passion for research and education, aiming always to enhance understanding and application of financial principles in a rapidly changing world.
